I may have wanted to click my heels together several times yesterday and utter the words, “there’s no place like home, but I knew that it would have been an exercise in frustration. I was already frustrated enough. I have gotten used to the way that the airlines have used their real time information and their connected devices to make sure that you are fully aware of what is going on with your transportation situation.
They were nice enough to tell me that although there was no problem with my initial flight, the connecting flight was already delayed. Then the initial flight was delayed. Then when I arrived at Las Vegas’ Macarron Airport, the 3:15 flight was listed as departing at 6:10. It eventually departed at 5:35, but not before changing to 4:15, then 4:35, then 4:55, then 5:05, then 5:10 and finally…uh…GATE CHANGE…run to the other side of the terminal and then board the plane.
It really makes you appreciate being home…no matter how cold it is.
Whoa! This blog looks just like my old one! It’s on a completely different topic but it has pretty
much the same page layout and design. Outstanding choice
of colors!
